The reserve is home to the elegant Tigers, gigantic Asiatic Elephants, flamboyant Leopards and oodles of colourful birds. Alongside the variety of wild animals, the diverse eco-systems comprising of grasslands, swamps, wooded forests and riverine scenes elevate the wildlife experience. While on the Safari, it can be a possibility to watch a Tiger in action to satiate the hunger hunting herbivorous prey like the Sambar Deer, Ghorals or the Chitals. Or otherwise feasting on the previous day’s kill.
The Jim Corbett National Park is divided into several zones. Dhikala is the largest zone in the area with varied landscapes from Salwood forests to vast grasslands and narrow valleys. The wild Asiatic Elephants can be spotted in the grassland area roaming around in herds. Leopards, Sloth Bears, Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Crocodiles and other reptiles also appear in front of you with 550 species of birds
There are no restrictions on age per se. We have had as small as 1 yr kid with us on a tour. Please check with us if you have questions.
The Safaris are with gypsy with maximum of 6 visitors allowed with a driver and guide.
