Andamans – Port Blair and Little Andaman
The archipelago of Andamans is a group of beautiful little islands in the South-Eastern part of the Bay of Bengal. This place is home to a highly diverse species of birds with many of them being endemic. More than 20 species of birds are found only on these islands and nowhere else. The endemics include four owls namely the Andaman scops owl, Andaman hawk owl, Waldens scops owl and the Hume’s hawk owl. Few others are the Andaman Woodpecker, Andaman Crake and Andaman Serpent Eagle.
This photography tour is an extensive and intensive bird photography workshop, covering the major birding hotspots like Mount Harriet, Sippi Ghat, Chidia Tapu and Shoal Bay around Port Blair. We also visit the beautiful little island of Little Andaman for covering more species like the beautiful Nicobar Pigeon and Beach Thick-nee.
One tour for any birding and bird photography enthusiast to cover a big number of species and make some great images of them as well.
